Town Secretary
It is my pleasure to introduce the various departments that form the backbone of the Rusape Town Council. These departments are dedicated to serving our community and ensuring the smooth operation of our town’s services.
Central Administration: This department is the nerve center of our council, overseeing the Town Secretary, Human Resources, Audit Section, IT Section, Town Planning Section, Procurement Section, Security & Traffic Enforcement, and Fire & Rescue Services.
Finance: Our finance department is divided into the Revenue Section, Expenditure Section, and IT Section, ensuring the financial health and technological advancement of our operations.
Engineering: This department is tasked with the critical functions of Water & Sewer management, Roads maintenance, and overseeing the Electrical Section and Workshops.
Housing & Community Services: This department encompasses Environmental Health Services, Community Services, and Clinical Services, focusing on the well-being and development of our residents.
Each department plays a vital role in the progress and maintenance of Rusape Town, and together, we work towards our goal of achieving municipal status. We are committed to transparency, efficiency, and excellence in all our endeavors.
