Rusape Town Council has noted with concern a culture of burning used tyres in a move to extract wires. This culture is rampant close to Musika Terminus at the welders section. This exercise is polluting the air as witnessed yesterday. The atmosphere was painted black for more than 2 hours. This act causes respiratory diseases and breathing problems.

Those found engaging in this exercise will liable to a fine. Also burning of any other waste without Council approval is a crime. Let’s help each other keep Rusape town clean.
